De Gustibus Network organizes about twice a month an event at the associated farms. Purpose of the events is to bring the consumer to the place of origin of his food, to promote the farms and artisan workshops as places of culture and cultural heritage, to inform to the consumers about the methods of substainable agriculture, based on techniques/recepies which could realize healthy products of high quality also before the expansion of chemical industry. The farms respect the environment, they keep it clean, healthy and in shape, because it is fundamental for the future of our life quality, economy, wellness.

The program of events covers all the year. Throughout the year there can be changes, therefore, to have confirmation about the appointments and details about the content follow us on Facebook, subscribe for our newsletter or contact us. To partecipate in the event you have to reserve  (there is a limited availability of places) and deadline of reservation is usually two days before the appointment.

The De Gustibus events are reserved to our associates. But if you are not yet member and would like to join us at the event, just ask for membership at the moment of reservation (yearliy cost of membership is 5 Euros).

October 11th: visit to the wine-producer Meriggio alle Falcole close to Greve and              Montefioralle; looking for mushrooms and fishing; wine-tasting and dinner.

October 25th: Bread making workshop at the bakery Antica Dolce Forneria of San             Casciano, in the Chianti hills south of Florence, followed by lunch in the bakery

October 31th: De Ghostibus, dinner, theatre, music and party at the fire-place; rural           celebration of harvest and ancestral traditions, with new olive-oil, pumpkin-dishes, barbecue “in“ the chimney. The place of the event has still to be decided and will be communicated in the newsletter of the event.

November 7th: Agriturismo San Leo at Figline Val d’Arno; visit to the oil-mill of the farm; olive-oil tasting; dinner with the products of the farm (salami and meat from open-air bred cinta-senese pigs)

November 21st: visit and dinner at the organic farm Nesti e Cupoli, on the hills South of Lastra a Signa; production of wine, olive-oil, vegetables and fruits

December 14th and 15th: Christmas market at the De Gustibus Bistro at Florence, Piazza Tasso, drinking hot wine punch (mulled wine), composing Christmas gifts and chest with products of the local farmers and tasting of typical products.
